Troymin drilling La Ronge claims

On the Berven Lake property (CBS 7423), where Cameco is the operator, drilling will continue to test the Joey gold occurrence at depth and along strike. Significant assays from last winter’s drill program include 0.90 oz gold per ton over 1 m, and 0.34 oz gold over 1.6 m.

Gold occurrences which were discovered last summer within the Berven Lake pluton will also be drill tested and covered by detailed geophysical surveys this winter.

On the Severson Lake property (CBS 7435), drilling will test the north-trending DJ shear zone, along which several gold mineralized samples have been collected.

At Hanson Lake, 40 miles west of Flin Flon, the company and operator Granges Exploration (TSE) are planning geophysical work and possible drilling on claims located nearby on the new massive sulphide discovery of Cameco, Esso Minerals, and Tri-Gold Industries (VSE).

Troymin reports that exploration on its Hanson Lake claims has been ongoing since 1983. Mineralization has been discovered in two sulphide zones which are collectively termed the “Balsam zone.” Significant assay results include 7 m of 3.3% zinc, 3.3% copper, 1.5 oz silver and 0.10 oz gold.

Drilling to date has confirmed the appropriate geological setting for base metal deposits, but has not established economically exploitable reserves, says Troymin president, Al Pfeffer.
