Troymin, Butec drilling Hawk Ridge

Joint-venture partners International Butec Industries (VSE) and Troymin Resources (ASE) have started drilling their Hawk Ridge copper-nickel prospect in the Ungava region of northern Quebec.

The companies are testing areas of known mineralization so as to confirm previously reported grades.

Historic exploration, which dates back to 1961, outlined several copper-nickel showings, including one that is estimated to contain 18 million tonnes grading 0.6% copper and 0.2% nickel plus platinum, palladium and gold values.
