Trio in Carlin (April 03, 1989)

The Trio property is immediately northwest of the operating Dee and Bootstrap open pit gold mines. According to the company, the claims are underlain by sedimentary and igneous rocks which host several gold-bearing altered zones typical of the Carlin trend.

Drilling completed by previous operators intersected 60 ft grading 0.045 oz gold and 50 ft grading 0.065 oz gold per ton. A third hole cut 35 ft assaying 0.04 oz gold per ton.

The company is compiling technical information from the property in preparation for an exploration program scheduled to begin in May. The program will also include up to 25,000 ft of drilling.
