Junior Consolidated Trilogy Ventures (VSE) has carried out preliminary trenching in and around excavated pits and underground workings on the Nueva Esperanza property in Chile.
The main feature is a northwesterly trending carbonate-silica breccia containing pyrite and copper oxide.
Trenching west of the breccia identified primarily oxide mineralization in andesites with amygdaloidal and porphyritic textures. Assay results from samples taken over 5-metre intervals include 2.91%, 2.86% and 1% copper between 90 to 105 metres west of the breccia for trench 1; 2.44% and 3% copper between 85 to 95 metres west of the breccia for trench 2; and 2.33%, 1.89% and 2.99% copper between 80 to 95 metres west of the breccia for trench 3.
Trilogy expects to conclude a joint-venture option agreement concerning Nueva Esperanza in the near future.
