Tri Origin expands Aussie ground

Junior Tri-Origin Exploration (TSE) has formed a 50-50 joint venture with an Australian company to explore ground in New South Wales.

The joint venture has applied for seven exploration leases covering ground prospective for both gold and base metal mineralization. The total area exceeds 1,400 sq. km.

About $200,000 has been budgeted for initial exploration on the property, which is underlain by rocks of the Lachlan Fold Belt. The belt extends from Queensland south to Tasmania and hosts many past and currently producing gold and base metal mines.

Tri Origin’s Australian partner, Delta Gold, trades on the Sydney stock exchange. (The joint venture does not include Tri Origin’s Lewis Ponds project, which is also in New South Wales.)
