Having drilled 12 holes, Tri Origin Exploration (TSE) has defined an inferred resource at Tom’s zone on the Lewis Ponds property in New South Wales, Australia.
The inferred resource, which lies between 10 and 490 metres below surface, consists of 1 million tonnes grading 1.95 grams gold and 214 grams silver per tonne, plus 0.3% copper, 5.36% lead and 7.91% zinc.
Tom’s zone remains open at depth, and to the north and south. The company thinks there is excellent potential to expand the size of the deposit.
Elsewhere on the property, studies show that the Main zone consists of three parallel lenses. The central lens contains an inferred resource of about 3 million tonnes averaging 3.6 grams gold and 123 grams silver per tonne, as well as 0.21% copper, 2.56% lead and 4.17% zinc. The hangingwall lens consists of 500,000 tonnes averaging 2.19 grams gold, 80 grams silver, 0.14% copper, 1.89% lead and 3.48% zinc, while the lower-grade footwall lens contains 3 million tonnes.
Tri Origin will continue to evaluate these known resources and test other exploration targets at Lewis Ponds during the new year.
