Another three holes have been drilled by Tri Origin Exploration (TSE) to test Tom’s zone, situated 900 metres south of the Main zone on the company’s Lewis Ponds polymetallic property in New South Wales, Australia.
Hole 51 cut a 23-metre-thick band of disseminated and massive sulphides averaging 1.63 grams gold and 262 grams silver per tonne, plus 0.4% copper, 5.33% lead and 6.37% zinc. The intersection was 470 metres below surface and 360 metres below the discovery hole 46.
Two other holes, 50 and 52, drilled closer to Hole 46, intersected narrower, lower-grade sulphide mineralization. Hole 50 cut a 4-metre section that averaged 1.42 grams gold and 60 grams silver, plus 0.13% copper, 1.97% lead and 3.42% zinc. Hole 52 intersected 5 metres that averaged 1.62 grams gold and 72 grams silver, plus 0.21% copper, 2.74% lead and 5.22% zinc.
Two drills are continuing to test Tom’s zone at depth and to the south.
