Total moves into Idaho

The Gold Star property covers a quartz breccia outcrop which is 200 ft wide and 300 ft long. A series of 40 chip samples across the zone yielded an average grade of 0.12 oz gold per ton. The zone is open along strike and at depth, TOTAL says. A drill program is set to begin in June.

The Gold star property is one of seven acquired by TOTAL in Idaho during the past six months. Two others, the Pine Creek and Phelan Mountain, are also near the Beartrack deposit. At Pine Creek, grab samples returned assays ranging from 0.05-0.32 oz gold from a fault zone.
