An exploration program involving about 10,000 ft. of diamond drilling and geophysical work is set to commence at the Scott Lake base metal property 12 miles west of Chibougamau, Que., Thunderwood Resources (TSE) reports.
Main purpose of the program is to further delineate a zinc-copper-silver-bearing massive sulphide zone in the central portion of the property that was discovered during the 1991-92 winter season. Other targets will also be tested.
The Scott Lake project is a 50-50 joint venture between Thunderwood, the operator, and Greenstone Resources (TSE).
