A first-phase drill program has been completed on Multinational Resources’ Toodoggone area property north of Smithers, B.C. Sixteen holes aggregating 5,036 ft were drilled to test the B zone along strike to the northeast and southwest.
The plunge of the high grade B zone oreshoot was found to steepen at depth so deeper holes will now be required to delineate the zone. Significant intercepts were reported in four holes, the best of which was M87-9 which graded 1.3 oz gold and 2.3 oz silver across 14.5 ft. No M87-12 graded 0.36 oz gold and 0.3 oz silver over 12 ft and M87-16 returned 14 ft of 0.34 oz gold and 3.4 oz silver. No M87-8 averaged 0.22 oz gold and 0.47 oz silver over 13.5 ft.
A 6,000-ft phase two drill program is now under way and Multinational confirms there are no immediate plans to go underground. This decision will probably be made after the Omenica mine road has been completed into the area.
