Teck CEO Don Lindsay speaks with The Northern Miner's Trish Saywell at the Canadian Mining Symposium on Zoom.

This week’s episode features a wide-ranging interview with Teck Resources president and CEO Don Lindsay at the Canadian Mining Symposium on June 17, 2020. Northern Miner editor-in-chief Trish Saywell asks Don how he started in mining, how the company views the Chinese and Indian markets, as well as the oilsands and ESG, and the shift of its core business towards copper and its QB2 project.

Don R. Lindsay joined Teck as president in January 2005, was appointed to the Board in February 2005 and was appointed chief executive officer in April 2005. Mr. Lindsay was employed by CIBC World Markets Inc.  from 1985 to 2004 where he was President of CIBC World Markets Inc., Head of Investment and Corporate Banking and Head of the Asia Pacific Region.
