This focus of this week’s episode is Quebec’s Plan Nord — the multi-decade and multi-billion dollar program by the Quebec government to build infrastructure and develop resource industries in the province’s far north.

The discussion takes place at Canada House in London, beginning with welcoming remarks by Janice Charette, Canada’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and then moves to a feature talk by Robert Sauvé, CEO of the Société du Plan Nord — the Quebec government-owned company tasked with overseeing execution of the plan.

Then we launch into a lively panel discussion with Sauvé joined by the heads of three junior mining companies active in the Plan Nord territory: Guy Bourassa, president and CEO of Nemaska Lithium; Pascal Hamelin, president and COO of Metanor Resources; and Darin Wagner, president and CEO of Balmoral Resources.
