Armed with proceeds from a recent financing, Canquest Resource (CQ-V) plans to continue exploration of its Microgold epithermal gold project near Kamloops, in southwestern British Columbia.
Also planned is a program of deep diamond drilling to test the Cottonbelt property in eastern British Columbia, which hosts a zinc-lead-copper-gold deposit. The drilling will initially probe a portion of a major folded structure containing at least three horizons that host base and precious-metal mineralization.
At Microgold, a 30-line-km induced polarization survey is aiding in the selection of targets for a drilling program, which is scheduled to follow.
