Vancouver-listed Hymex Diamond has reported production figures from its Diani River project in Guinea.

In February, the company washed 3,044 cubic metres of gravel, recovering 1,446 stones weighing 727.18 carats, including 142 stones in excess of 1 carat. The average stone size was 0.56 carat, and the average grade was 0.348 carats per cubic metre. Of the stones recovered 35% were gems.
