Underground exploration at Tenajon Silver’s (VSE) SB property 19 miles north of Stewart, B.C., has encountered encouraging gold values along with massive sulphide mineralization.
Tenajon, the operator, has earned a 50% interest in the property which is held by Esso Minerals Canada under option from Consolidated Silver Butte Mines (VSE). The SB prospect borders Westmin Resources’ Big Missouri property to the south.
An adit on the SB property intersected a massive sulphide structure running north to south. Representative grab samples across an apparent true width of 10.8 ft averaged 0.71 oz gold and 12.7 oz silver. Copper and zinc mineralization have been noted visually and assay results for base metals are pending. Underground development will continue with an extension of the adit to the south, says Tenajon.
