Taywin acquiring Mexican property

In concert with numerous other juniors looking further afield for promising mineral properties, Taywin Resources (VSE) recently announced it is participating in a Mexican exploration program involving six gold and copper properties.

The company said most of the properties have been drilled, and one contains proven reserves.

Taywin is now involved in discussions with several well funded mining companies which may become involved in funding exploration on the properties in return for varying joint-venture interests.

Taywin’s key asset is the Merry Widow mine project on Vancouver Island. The company is currently involved in discussions with outside parties interested in the gold-copper mineralization and the magnetite-garnet content of the deposits.

Although these discussions are reported to be progressing slowly, Taywin is anticipating a substantial program for 1991.
