Taylor and Zunkel win TMS Best Paper Award

John Taylor and Alan Zunkel recently received The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) Extractive Metallurgy Best Paper Award for their joint effort, “Integrated Primary/Secondary Pb Smelting.” This award, presented at the 1990 TMS annual meeting and exhibition, is for a paper or series of papers that makes an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the technology of extractive metallurgy.

Taylor, president of the consulting firm Jan H. Reimers and Associates Inc., is serving as TMS director of extractive metallurgy. Zunkel, manager of minerals business development with NERCO Minerals Co., is a former president of TMS.
