Tarzan in Casa Berardi

An exploration program has been started by Tarzan Gold on the company’s 923-claim property in the Casa Berardi area of Quebec. Located eight miles southwest of the Golden Pond mine project being developed by Inco Gold Ltd., the Tarzan property is being tested by reverse circulation drilling and geophysical surveys.

Initial results from two holes include 13 grains of gold in overburden. Airborne surveys have outlined several massive sulphide anomalies which are targets for copper-zinc-gold mineralization, Tarzan says.

Noranda Exploration has optioned 131 claims which tie on to the Tarzan group in St. Laurent Twp., Que. This area is being explored for base metals. Tarzan is also well-funded, having completed a $1.25-million share offering through Yorkton Securities.
