Tanqueray picks up ground

Tanqueray Resources (TQY-A) has staked a 25,825-acre claim block in the MacKay Lake area of the Mackenzie district in the Northwest Territories.

The property block is 70 km south of the producing Ekati diamond mine, 55 km northeast of Winspear Resources‘ (WSP-V) Camsell Lake project and 80 km northwest of Mountain Province Mining’s (mpv-v) AK project.

Previous owners of the Mackay Lake claims completed airborne geophysical surveys and limited heavy mineral sampling in 1993 and 1994.

Tanqueray intends to review geophysical data, and conduct a heavy mineral geochemical survey.
