Tandem/Storiman ventures release Moss Twp. results

With the expected demise of flow-through financing, partners Storimin Exploration (ASE) and Tandem Resources (ME) have some major decisions to make at the Moss Twp. property, west of Thunder Bay, Ont.

The 50/50 joint venturers have pulled some good results lately and a new zone has been encountered about 800-ft east of the original zone. With Storimin trading at 80 cents in Alberta and Tandem at around 60 cents in Montreal, Storimin President Al Storey said he may have to bring in a third party. The partners have spent $5 million so far.

Recent drilling at Moss Lake indicates a minimum length of 400 ft with a possibility of further extension at depth and along strike, said Storey.

Some of the best results are as follows: Hole Width (ft.) Grade oz/ton 88-161 2 ft 0.554 oz

4 ft 0.343 oz

3 ft 0.810 oz 88-149 22 ft 0.384 oz 88-126 36 ft 0.19 oz

The partners have also pulled some good intersections while drilling from a 900 ft drift which was recently driven into the Main zone. According to Storey, the results were encountered 200 ft to 500 ft south of and parallel to the Main zone which contains about 400,000 tons of ore grade material.

Results from four holes include: Hole Width (ft.) Grade oz/ton 88-111 2.5 ft 1.1 oz

6.5 ft 0.27 oz

1.5 ft 1.3 oz

6.5 ft 1.13 oz

In other news, the partners have also completed approximately 3,300 ft of underground development including a 2,200-ft ramp and 900 ft of drifting on the main zone at the 230-ft level.
