Tandem-NAR to expand program

At their Guibord Twp. property, 17 km east of Matheson, Ont., juniors Tandem Resources (ME) and NAR Resources (ME) are following up on mineralization intersected in drilling at the end of 1995.

The composite grade of the mineralized intersection is known to be 5.1 grams gold per tonne over 12.1 metres; this includes a previously reported 5.9-metre intersection, averaging 7.54 grams, which contained a 2.8-metre interval that graded 13.6 grams gold per tonne (T.N.M., Jan. 8/96).

The companies will be testing at depth and along strike in the coming weeks, and a second drill may be added to speed up the project.
