Since mill startup in April, the Table Mountain mine in northwestern British Columbia has produced 5,785 oz. gold for owner Cusac Industries (TSE).
A modest-sized underground producer, Table Mountain lies 70 miles south of Watson Lake near the former asbestos-mining community of Cassiar. The 300-ton-per-day mill features both gravity and flotation circuits. Cusac started preproduction work late last year, after arranging a US$2-million startup loan. Initial production is coming from the West Bain vein.
Direct operating cash costs at the mine site were US$183.35 per oz. during the 10-week period ended June 30.
