The Rio Tinto copper oxide project in Mexico’s Chihuahua state is estimated to contain 18.3 million tonnes grading 0.43% copper within a massive garnet skarn.
Swannell Minerals (VSE), which is earning a half interest in the property, estimates the proven and probable portion at 7.6 million tonnes.
The company has started a second phase of work to expand the resource and provide metallurgical data.
