A new division of Vancouver-based Wire Rope & Rigging Consultants has been established. The Mining Ropes Management division has begun marketing its services on a select basis to companies in the surface mining industry. Some of the division’s services include warranty claims representation, contracts consultation, machine inspections, rope/yardage analysis, rope disposal and a computerized rope wear tracking system.
