A service centre has been opened in Fort McMurray, Alta., by Peacock Inc., part of the Weir Group. The new centre, in the heart of the Athabasca tar sands area, has 6,500 sq ft of machine shop and assembly space. It is also equipped with la thes, a milling machine, welding equipment, hydraulic press and a boring mill.
