The Outokumpu Equipment division of Outokumpu Oy of Finland has purchased the Sweden- based Wenmec Systems AB, manufacturer of material- handling systems for the non-ferrous refining industry. The division has also acquired the assets and business of Wenmec Inc., a U.S.-based marketing company. The business of Wenmec Inc. has been placed into a newly formed company named Wenmec Systems.
