SUPPLIERS’ NOTES Deister Concentrator Co.

The Deister Concentrator Co., of Fort Wayne, Ind., has completed two agreements with Sala International AB, of Sala, Sweden, for manufacturing and marketing of Deister’s Flotaire Flotation Cell in world markets. The Flotaire column uses micron-size bubbles and a unique flotation system to facilitate more efficient mineral recovery than was possible with prior state-of-the-art flotation machines. It was developed as an improvement over mechanical cell flotation and has been available in the U.S. for some time. Sala will manufacture and sell the Flotaire in Western Europe, the Middle East and Francophone Africa.
