Sultan explores Kena gold project GQ

Vancouver-based Sultan Minerals (SUL-V) has launched an exploration program at the Kena gold property, near Nelson in southeastern British Columbia. Work is focused on the Gold Mountain zone discovery, made last year.

The Gold Mountain zone is a porphyry-style gold target. Sultan says previous prospecting and trenching revealed “significant” gold values over considerable widths. The discovery area lies within a strong gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly, which, in turn, is coincident with a strong induced-polarization geophysical anomaly. The project area is served with a power line, rail bed, paved highway and network of logging roads.
