Diamond drilling on the Ahbau Creek property by Gabriel Resources has encountered gold, silver and copper mineralization in a series of massive sulphide veins.
Results from the first two holes cut 7.8 ft grading 0.29 oz gold per ton, 0.66 oz silver and 0.3% copper. Another hole intersected a narrow 1.2-ft section assaying 0.32 oz with minor amounts of copper and silver. Both sections are from shallow depths above 50 ft.
Gabriel says the discovery zone outcrops and has been exposed along strike for 230 ft. The vein averages 5 ft in width.
