A silicified shear zone well mineralized with sulphides has been intersected over a core length of 60 ft in drill hole No 2 on St. Genevieve Resources’ Casa Berardi- Laberge gold property in northwestern Quebec.
According to project manager and geologist Gordon Wilson, a visual estimate of the sulphide content reveals 10%-15% pyrite- pyrrhotite, 8%-10% chalcopyrite, and 2%-3% sphalerite. Assay results should be available this month.
Drill hole No 2 is located in the centre portion of the property where overburden thickness is approximately 130 ft; the zone was intersected at 450 ft.
Parklane Technologies Inc. of Calgary has now earned a 16.5% interest in the property.
