Sullivan resumes Goldstack drilling

Good results are being reported from drilling on Goldstack Resources’ Dubuisson Twp. property with funds provided by Sullivan Mines.

Hole 86-18 has returned a 41 ft intersection from 908.5 ft to 949.5 ft grading 0.24 oz gold per ton, says Jean Depati, Sullivan’s chief geologist.

Drilling is expected to continue for the next several months.

Located about seven miles west of Val d’Or Que., the property contains part of the old Malartic Gold Fields mine’s property which has indicated reserves of 869,193 tons grading 0.179 oz gold per ton.

Under an agreement from Oct. 5, 1984, Goldstack has granted Sullivan an option to acquire a 50% interest in the property by spending $600,000 by Dec. 1986.
