Named as one of three defendants in a proceeding commenced in the Supreme Court of British Columbia is Aurizon Mines (TSE). The company says the action, launched by a private company, is related to an option and joint venture agreement with respect to a Costa Rican property held by a Costa Rican corporation. Aurizon, a Hughes-Lang company which operates the Sleeping Giant gold mine north of Amos, Que., says it is considering a counterclaim.
