Studies continue at Santo Tomas

A final feasibility study is in progress for the Santo Tomas copper-gold project in Mexico’s Sinaloa state.

A prefeasibilty study was finished last August and Exall Resources (TSE) says additional work has been carried out on ore-reserve definition, mine design and processing facilities.

Kilborn and Mintec have completed a study which would allow for the extraction of high-grade ore from the pit.

A drill-indicated reserve of more than 1 billion tonnes has been outlined for the deposit, which remains open on strike and at depth.
