Student research grants available from SEC

The Colorado-based Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) has announced that research grants totalling US$40,000 will be available to students in 1998.

The grants will be made available, under three separate categories, to students of economic geology throughout the world.

The amount of each grant will range from US$500 to US$3,000.

Grant applications are available from the Student Research Grants Program of the SEC, at 5808 South Rapp St., Suite 209, Littleton, Colo. 80120. Phone: (303) 797-0332. Fax: (303) 797-0417.
