Student competition

Quebec mining group Vior- Mazarin and Les Affaires newspaper have organized a competition for geology students in Quebec studying at the university level.

Students, working with an imaginary budget of $500,000, are to submit an exploration program for property within the boundaries of Quebec, with the winner to receive a grant of $5,000.

Deadline for entering the competition is April 29. Entries may be sent to Societe d’Exploration Miniere Mazarin Inc., 81 rue St-Pierre, suite 200, Quebec, P.Q. G1K 4A3. For more information, contact the president of Mazarin, Regis Labeaume, at his Quebec City office.
