Stratmin plans more drilling on graphite bet

More drilling is planned by Stratmin Inc. of Montreal along a 6,000-ft electro-magnetic anomaly on a wholly-owned graphite property located south of Mont Laurier, Que.

The company recently released the results of the remaining 17 holes of the initial 44 holes drilled on two segments of the anomaly. Results from the north segment, Stratmin says, extend and confirm the continuity of a graphitic deposit open laterally and down- dip (sub-vertical) and composed of four parallel bands trenching in a north-south direction.

The south segment is located 3,600 ft south of the other segment. Holes were drilled to a maximum depth of 300 ft; the company says the results indicate mineralization for an average of 6.26% graphitic carbon across widths of 11.3 ft to 38.9 ft.

The company says it will check out the presence of four additional anomalies running parallel to each other and also striking in a north- south direction.
