Stormy weather stalls CSR drilling

Due to “extremely severe” weather conditions, the Canadian States Resources (CDN) drill crew working 80 km northwest of Voisey Bay has discontinued drilling.

The company plans to resume drilling as soon as weather conditions permit.

The drill crew completed CS95-13, and the core revealed the continuation of the massive pyrrhotite zone that was initially hit in holes CS95-2 and CS95-3. Hole CS95-13 was drilled 50 metres north of the earlier holes. It intersected a 1-metre section of massive sulphides 50 metres below surface. Assays will be released when they become available.
