Stewart Lake Resources has completed a geophysical survey over the company’s Kirkham graphite property, located 25 miles north of Kingston, Ont. The surveys outlined three parallel zones varying in length from 1,600 ft to 3,400 ft. The zones, Stewart Lake says, are associated with flake graphite mineralization.
Grab samples from the graphite horizons have assayed up to 10% carbon. The company has also staked additional ground in order to protect the zones. Funding for the exploration came from a $500,000 financing completed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
