Two drill rigs continue to test the 21 zone discovery and the winter drill program should be completed by month-end, said Calpine, the operator. Grade and tonnage calculations will be made by an independent consultant after the program is completed, the company added.
Results from an airborne geophysical survey over the Eskay Creek project and surrounding properties are expected before work resumes. The geophysical data will help locate the fault offset of the 21 zone to the west and help in evaluating other precious metal zones in the area, the company said.
