Starcore drills Samuels Lake

Partners Starcore Resources (SOE-V) and ProAm Explorations (PMX-V) have intersected more copper, nickel, cobalt and platinum group metals mineralization at their Samuels Lake property in northwestern Ontario.

The second-phase drill program consisted of six holes and a down-hole pulse-electromagnetic survey. Highlights are as follows:

• Hole 8 intersected a 170-metre interval grading 0.17% copper and 0.09% nickel. Included in this interval were 19 metres of 0.41% copper and 0.19% nickel.
• Hole 9 hit 4.68 metres grading 1.15 grams platinum and palladium per tonne.
• Hole 11 intersected 18 metres grading 0.29% copper and 0.2% nickel, plus 33 metres of 0.24% copper and 0.13% nickel.

Anomalies were also detected in holes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11, which suggest the presence of semi-massive or massive sulphide bodies.

Plans call for an electromagnetic survey to define additional drill targets.
