Spirit outlines new oreshoot

Montreal-listed Spirit Lake Explorations says summer drilling on the Edward’s property near Wawa, Ont., has identified an additional high-grade oreshoot.

This new carbonate zone grades 0.481 oz. gold per ton over a 5-ft. minimum width. It extends from near the surface to below the 500-ft. level and is open along strike and downdip.

Spirit plans an underground bulk sample as soon as financing can be arranged. The new discovery was found on the Shaynee horizon, about 200 ft. west of the previously outlined Edward deposit, which averages 0.55 oz. per ton.
