Vancouver – Drilling on the El Creston trend at its polymetallic Tahuehueto project, in northwestern Durango State, Mexico, has delivered high-grade gold values for Soho Resources (SOH-V, SHRJF-O).
The three latest holes (29, 30 and 31) tested the EL1225 ore shoot between 50-100 metres below the level 16 adit. Results include:
- DDH-05-29 intersected 13.7 metres (from 53.3 metres down hole depth) grading 11.9 grams gold per tonne, 52.1 grams silver per tonne, 0.4% copper, 1.1% lead and 2.7% zinc; within the interval, a section of 6.1 metres averaged 15.6 grams gold, 88.4 grams silver, 0.7% copper, 1% lead and 3% zinc, including a 3.1-metre high-grade segment of 28.9 grams gold, 111.5 grams silver, 0.4% copper, 0.8% lead and 2.3% zinc;
- DDH-05-30 cut a wide 21.4-metre interval (from 70.7 metres) of 2.4 grams gold, 27.3 grams silver, 0.2% copper, 0.5% lead and 1% zinc, including a 9.1-metre portion grading 4.7 grams gold and 35.6 grams silver;
- DDH-05-31 returned a 10.7 metre intercept (from 81.4 meters) of 2.4 grams gold and 19.7 grams silver including a 3-metre section grading 7.4 grams gold and 41.6 grams silver.
Soho has been drill testing the lateral and depth extent of the main El Creston structure and other veins, building a case for a significant mineralized body enroute to producing a resource estimate. The epithermal vein system is near vertical, up to several metres in width and has been traced over a vertical extent of 600 metres and over at least one km of strike. A number of historic underground workings (adits) exist on the project allowing extensive access for sampling.
