Australia-based mine consultancy and engineering company Snowden Group is again hosting a global photo competition, to display the diversity of the mining industry.
Entitled “Celebrating the Mining Industry,” this year’s exhibition will showcase the culture, geography and machinery of the industry and includes an A$10,000 prize for the winner.
In addition to the grand prize, Snowden has established three prizes worth A$3,000 apiece for winners in specific categories including landscape and general setting, people and culture and equipment and technology.
There is also a A$1,000 “people’s choice” award.
The contest closes June 30. Entry is free and each participant can enter up to 3 photographs either online or by mail.
