SMA fights hazards

The Saskatchewan Mining Association (SMA) has recently announced an environmental policy as it stresses the importance of its contribution to economic growth in the province. The policy, endorsed by all member companies, is designed to ensure the protection of the environment, employees and the public.

“The SMA views environmental protection as one of our most important priorities as we head into a new decade, comparable to our desire for increased economic growth,” says President Pearce Bowman.
