Skylark development

Mine development is progressing satisfactorily at Skylark Resources’ ob mine near Greenwood, B.C. By mid- August the decline was down some 1,355 ft and four crosscuts had been completed into the H zone.

Extensive ruby silver was reported from the zone which will be the subject of a drifting and raising program when the decline is completed. The Serp gold zone will also be examined.

Skylark says metallurgical work and mill testing have been completed and production from the H zone should begin this fall. Future exploration will concentrate on delineating proven reserves in the H zone and developing the Serp. The possibility of further property acquisitions in the area is being investigated, the company notes.
