Related companies Silverside Resources and Proteus Resources report the recent completion of a drilling program on the 106-claim Garrison gold property in Garrison and Thackeray twps., in northern Ontario.
Drill-indicated reserves on zones 5 and 6 have been increased to 400,000 tons grading 0.17 oz gold per ton, the companies say, adding that three of the holes encountered highly anomalous values.
Lac Minerals, which is earning a 50% interest in the property by spending $1.5 million, has proposed a further 11,000-ft drilling program.
When Lac earns its 50% interest, Silverside will have a 37.5% interest, with Proteus holding the remaining 12.5%.
The companies report a correction to earlier assay results: hole 4 cut 0.24 oz over 5 ft.
