Drill-indicated reserves on zones 5 and 6 at the Garrison property (106 claims) in the Matheson area of northern Ontario have been increased to 400,000 tons grading 0.17 oz gold per ton, Silverside Resources (TSE) reports.
A Silverside-related company, Proteus Resources (VSE), completed its drill program in February. Holes 5, 6 and 7 encountered highly anomalous values, Silverside President Leith Hellens says.
Lac Minerals (TSE), which has an option to earn a 50% interest in the property, has proposed an 11,000-ft drilling program.
Silverside has corrected the assay result of hole 4, which the company now says intersected 0.24 oz over 5 ft.
