Almost 25,000 ft of a 43,000-ft drilling program on the MacLellan mine property near Lynn Lake, Man., has been completed, SherrGold Inc. reports. Four drills are busy on the property, which hosts a producing gold mine. On the Rainbow zone, situated 1,000 ft west of the MacLellan main zone, two drills are testing separate lenses where drilling earlier this year encountered gold mineralization.

The company reports the zone is open along strike and at depth.
East of the main and Nisku zones, a fourth drill is testing the MacLellan mine horizon at shallow depths. The best intersections to date have been 0.11 oz over 6 ft and 0.13 oz over 4.8 ft from hole NX87-17, the company reports.
