Sharpe finds gold at Antone Canyon

Surface trenches at the Antone Canyon property in Nye County, Nev., of Sharpe Energy & Resources (CDN) have been found to contain gold mineralization.

The program was designed to test for the surface extension of gold mineralization found in drill holes advanced by a previous operator. So far, samples from two trenches have returned gold values. In trench F, a 100-ft. surface length showed an average gold grade of 0.09 oz. per ton and contained a 65-ft. interval with an average grade of 0.12 oz. In trench H, a 60-ft. length featured two intervals of mineralization, one of 10 ft. grading 0.06 oz. gold and one of 5 ft. grading 0.28 oz.

Sharpe plans to extend trench H and excavate other trenches in the area. Assays from trenches already excavated are expected shortly.
