A 10,000-20,000-tonne bulk sample is planned for the Touquoy zone at the Moose River gold project in Nova Scotia, Seabright Explorations (TSE) reports.
The proposed sampling area has been stripped. A start to the removal of the bulk sample is expected by mid-September. The ore will be trucked to Gays River for custom milling.
At the Dufferin property, the company reports shallow drilling has located two quartz saddle reefs which contain sections of visible gold. Twenty-four holes have been drilled to date to define the extent of the reefs. Extraction of a bulk sample is being considered for this property.
Seabright Explorations is controlled by Westminer (Canada), which is owned by Western Mining of Australia and which gained control of the exploration company when it took over Seabright Resources earlier this year.
While Western Mining, through its Canadian connections, is suing the former directors of Seabright Resources over the economic potential of properties developed by Seabright Resources in Nova Scotia, Seabright Explorations reports the legal action has no implications for the business or operations of the exploration company.
